Privacy Policy
What we do with the details you send us, and the choices you have.
Who controls your information
LD Plant Hire Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We are a plant and machinery hire business based on the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom. You can reach us at ldplanthireltd@outlook.com or on 07859 909736.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the enquiry and contact forms on this website. That is typically your name, phone number, email address, the machine you are interested in, any dates you give us, and whatever you write in the message field. We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, passwords, or identity documents through these forms.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry — to confirm whether the machine you asked about is available, to quote a rate, and to arrange delivery and collection if you want it. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our business. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered to us through the platform that hosts this website, which stores them so that we can read and reply to them, and which sends us an email notification. That provider processes the information on our behalf. We do not pass your details to anyone else unless we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any hire that follows from it, and then for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete them sooner — see below.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we are using it. Contact us at the address above and we will deal with your request. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
